There are many possibilities in the region (lodgings, hotel, camping). Four Telegram channels will be opened  to help with carpooling or sharing accommodation for each session. See the event description.

Please note: The site where the conference takes place does not have rooms for the public. No need to ask them.

There are 2 TGV (high speed train) stations in Valence, the Valence-Ville TGV station and the Valence TGV Rhône-Alpes Sud station in Alixan, 25 minutes from Upie.

The nearest international airport is Lyon-Saint Exupéry, 1h30 away by car, with a TGV station less than 30 minutes from Valence’s TGV stations.

The site has parking for 350 cars. Carpooling is recommended and a Telegram channel with a section for each session will be opened to help with carpooling. See the event description.

Please note: The city of Valence is not covered by the Uber service.

A shuttle bus service with compulsory booking is available from certain hotels in Valence. See event description.

The conferences will not be broadcast live on the internet. Some conferences may be put online later either free of charge or for a fee.

There are no restaurants or shops near the site. Independent service providers will provide a catering service at lunchtime, during breaks and in the evening of each day. More details are given in the event description. It is also possible to bring your picnic.

The presentations of foreign speakers will be translated simultaneously into French by a translation team, via audio headsets included with the ticket.

Likewise, for foreign audiences, the presentations of French speakers will be translated simultaneously into English by the same translation team, via the audio headsets included in the ticket.

One signing session is planned at the end of day 1 of each session.

Existing books in French will be available for sale on site, and for English versions you’ll need to bring your own book.

No, the ticket includes conferences for both days of the same session. To have the broadest possible understanding of the subject, attendance on both days is recommended.

No, only people with a ticket for a two-day session can attend the closing concert, as well as the outdoor entertainment that will follow.

Times are indicated in the event description. The detailed agenda of the conferences will be communicated to registrants by email.

Arriving the day before in the region is strongly recommended. A pre-registration session is planned the day before each session at the end of the afternoon for the delivery of access badges. See the event description.

At the time of ticket purchase, cancellation insurance is offered as an option. This insurance covers 100% of the ticket price upon presentation of proof, and 70% of the ticket price if the reason for the impediment is eligible for insurance.

In all other cases, reimbursement is at the discretion of the organizers.

All people attending the event must have a nominative ticket. There is no child rate, and there is no minimum age imposed, but for the conference to run smoothly, participants must be able to understand the information given.

To ensure the smooth running of the conference, pets of the public are not accepted.
