General informations :
The event “Galactic Encounters 3: Are you ready ?” » takes place over 2 sessions of 2 days each, at the Valsoyo estate, in Upie in the Drôme, 15 km from Valence.
The first session takes place on Saturday Aug 2 and Sunday Aug 3, and the second session takes place on Tuesday Aug 5 and Wednesday Aug 6. The same lectures will be given on these two sessions and it is necessary to choose the session when purchasing the ticket. The second day of each session will end with an evening concert in the conference room followed by outdoor entertainment.
This event will bring together 9 international speakers at the heart of the “UFO” phenomenon, most of whom have been contacted, for conferences and question-and-answer sessions spread over these two days. For lectures will be given in French and five lectures will be given in English.
Each conference is translated simultaneously by a French-to-English or English-to-French translation team, and headsets included in the ticket.

Registration :
The ticket includes entry for the 2 full days of a session with the concert and outdoor entertainment on the second day included. Tickets are not offered for just one day, and a ticket is only valid for the session specified on the ticket.
IMPORTANT: for security reasons, each ticket is personal. There can only be one ticket per Name/First Name, and it must match the participant’s ID.
The public will not be allowed to film or record the lectures.
The estate’s park will be accessible to the public, taking care to respect the environment and the tranquility of the place.
1st Day: Saturday Aug 2 and Tuesday Aug 5
The public reception will be open from 8:00 a.m. Security and identity checks will be carried out upon entry.
A name badge will be provided. This badge will serve as your pass for the rest of the event.
It will also be possible to collect your badge on site the day before on Friday Aug 1 and Monday Aug 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The conferences will begin at 10 a.m. and end around 6:30 p.m., followed by a signing session and a free exchange between participants and media present until 9:00 p.m.
2nd Day: Sunday Aug 3 and Wednesday Aug 6
The public reception will be open from 8:00 a.m. Security and identity checks will be carried out upon entry.
The conferences will start at 9 a.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. A concert will be given in the evening around 8:30 p.m. followed by outdoor entertainment around 10:30 p.m. The public leaves around 11 p.m.
Breaks and meals:
There are no shops or restaurants near the site. The public will be able to eat on site at lunchtime as well as in the evening and during breaks either by bringing a picnic or from independent service providers present on site (4 food-trucks).
For safety reasons, the public is also asked not to bring glass bottles or sharp metal objects.

Transportation
The site has a car park with around 350 spaces. Carpooling is recommended and one Telegram channel is open per session (see below)
Motorhomes are not allowed to park overnight in the hotel parking lot.
There are 2 TGV (High Speed Train) stations in Valence, the Valence-Ville TGV station and the Valence TGV Rhône-Alpes Sud station in Alixan, 25 minutes from Upie.
The nearest international airport is Lyon-Saint Exupéry, 1h30 away by car, with a TGV station less than 30 minutes from Valence’s TGV stations.
Please note: The city of Valence is not yet covered by the Uber service.
Shuttle bus service between hotels in Valence and the Valsoyo site:
A bus service, with compulsory booking on the ticket office, is proposed, for morning departure and evening return journeys for the 2 days of each session. Hotel departure times are the same for both days.
This shuttle will serve the following hotels:

On-site arrival is scheduled between 8:30 am and 8:40 am. Evening departure from the site is at 9:30 pm on Day 1 and 11:00 pm on Day 2.
